筑梦新时代，扬帆正当时。“筑梦杯”写作竞赛给身处新时代、正值大好年华的新晋大学生们一次大展英文身手的机会。为进一步促进习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想进教材、进课堂、进头脑，使同学们牢固树立科学的世界观、人生观和价值观，弘扬和践行社会主义核心价值观，运用所掌握的英文知识讲好中国故事，在本次比赛中同学们将围绕五四精神进行命题议论文写作。

写作要求

The China Youth May the 4th Medal is the highest honor for understanding Chinese youths. Since 1997, it has been conferred on model youths in China for their outstanding contributions to the country and the examples they have set for the young generation. Do some research and write an essay of 200 to 250 words about one China Youth May the 4th Medal recipients, discussing in what way he or she represents the Chinese youths today. You can follow the guidance given below.

1.Choose one person who has received the China Youth May the 4th Medal and describe his or her achievements.

2.Evaluate the recipient’s contribution or qualities.

3.Discuss in what way the recipient represents the young generation of China today.

评分标准：

1.从思想内容、结构层次、语言运用、表述得体等方面考量。

2.要求作文必须为原创，杜绝雷同或软件翻译。

奖项设置：

一等奖1名，二等奖3名，三等奖6名，优秀奖若干。

参赛对象：

2022级全体同学
